题目:New Approaches For Mechanical Pulmonary Support In Series Right Ventricular Assist Device Operation

Right heart failure (RHF) and pulmonary hypertension (PH) have been identified as major health issues with increasing incidence and high associated mortality rates. Right ventricular assist devices (RVADs) have been used to support the failing right ventricle (RV); however, current devices are limited to in-parallel support. This paper presents a numerical model to assess the hemodynamic effects of an RVAD placed in series with an overloaded or failing RV. The model was used to simulate both in-series and in-parallel supported PH and RHF. The results demonstrated that in-series support can effectively unload the RV, augment systemic perfusion and restore the balance between RV oxygen supply and demand in both PH and RHF patients. In comparison to simulated parallel support and published clinical and in silico studies, the in-series support was able to provide comparable or improved restoration of key hemodynamic parameters in both target groups. This study concluded that in-series support can reduce the risk of progression into severe decompensated RHF in both PH and early stage RHF patients. Moreover, in-series support was able to produce effective afterload reduction and perfusion restoration without full unloading of the ventricle, eliminating complications associated with full unloading of the ventricle and in-parallel support.

以某火电厂过热汽温系统为控制对象,设计了一种基于单神经元自适应预测控制器,利用Foxboro公司I/A系列的DCS 控制系统平台对其组态设计与无扰切换设计,使得火电厂过热汽温系统实现自动控制。实验室的多次仿真研究和某火电厂的现场运行均表明该自动控制系统具有良好的控制品质与经济效益。
